Camp :(

I worked at an under privileged children’s camp in America last year for ten weeks. It wasn’t the most fantastic experience with regards to some vile fellow British I had to work with. The American children where so interesting. I worked with all the girls from age 8 to 16 but I lived with the 12year olds. At night time we had long talks with our torches and they are so much older than our 12 year olds. I think about them a lot and wonder how they get on. It’s been nearly a year since I left now and I do not intend to go back but I do miss them. I learnt some very interesting things about their lives and about America. Things you wouldn’t expect still happen. I hope they are all ok and I can’t wait to see their pictures of them from this year’s camp. Here is where I spent ten hours a day –

This summer is going to have to be better than the last. So far I plan to read lots, prepare for year two at university, earn some decent money, get super fit and travel. My boyfriend and I are going to go to the travel agents and book somewhere last minute. I love the excitement of not knowing where we are going to go! I was hoping for Thailand but due to current political events it does not look likely we will be going there!!
